Situated along the Great Miami River, Bar Granada overlooks the waterfront and opened in late 2018, and according to a previous article published by a Dayton news outlet, the bar closed briefly in 2019 for renovations that included a refreshed concept that focused on craft tequila and live music, which the bar still focuses on. The establishment features live music and Latin dancing through a variety of guest DJs hosted at the bar most weekends.

According to the menu on its website, Bar Granada serves tacos in a number of styles, such as birria, fish tacos and street tacos, along with appetizers like taquitos, jalapeno poppers and birria pizza. The drink menu includes craft cocktails like margaritas in a number of flavors, an old fashioned made with tequila and a draft beer selection.
