According to recent reporting, Aardvark Wine & Beer, located at 2355 W Dublin Granville Rd in Linworth is expanding. Opened in 2022 by owners Donnie Austin, and his wife Megan Cavanaugh, Aardvark Wine & Beer is a retail seller, but has obtained the permits for on-site consumption. Since the permits have been granted, the couple has started to move forward with their plans to expand, which includes adding on a bar, referred to as the “baardvark,” in the back of the existing business.

The space, which will be approximately 1,700 square feet according to the article, will not only allow for on-site consumption, but there are also plans to use some of the space to expand the retail offerings. While there aren’t plans to offer food at the establishment, with JT’s Pizza & Pub located across the street, guests are welcome to bring a pie into the bar space to enjoy with their beer or wine of choice.

Currently, the timeline for opening the bar and expanded retail space is slated for next year.
