According to recent reporting, a Dayton area bakery is shifting focus. Mamaw’s Bakery will move from a pop-up format to a bake to order business model. The bakery, located at 3800 Colonel Glenn Hwy, in Beavercreek, is in the former home of Gigi’s Cupcakes. Owned by Mendy Williams, a grandmother herself, Williams aims to transport her customers back to a time when they enjoyed baked goodies fresh from their own grandma’s kitchen.

Serving cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, brownies and whole cakes, the bakery also takes custom orders for baked goods for holidays, special occasions and large gatherings. And according to the recent reporting, the bakery announced it was moving away from the pop-up business model it was started as earlier this year.

Instead, the establishment will focus on weekend service hours and taking orders for whole cakes, pies and other goodies, according to information in the article. Orders can be placed by phone or in the shop, during business hours.
