Owner Mike Strawser tells What Now Columbus that he plans to open the Circleville shop by July 1, just in time for summer celebrations and the prime ice cream eating weather that comes along with those days.

Guests of the forthcoming shop can expect to find the same candy selection and 180 varieties of bottled craft soda, along with hand dipped ice cream. The shop is known for its fun menu items such as ice cream nachos, made with waffle cone “chips” and various toppings.

“The Circleville location will have about 400 more square feet than our Grove City location,” Strawser said. The store is located downtown and its guests will have access to an indoor dining area as well as outdoor seating due to its proximity to nearby Pumpkin Show Park.

In addition to the existing Grove City shop and Circleville location, the expansion doesn’t stop there, as plans are in the works for a third shop in Ashville. Strawser also owns the ice cream float food truck What The Float that can be found at various community events and other high traffic areas.

“The food truck started it all for us and we’re proud to be at OSU this coming season,” he said.
