As first reported by Dayton Business Journal, Pins Mechanical Co. will open a location in the Dayton suburb of Mason, as part of a multiphase, mixed-use development called the District at Deerfield. Pins is owned by Columbus based Rise Brands and the company calls their entertainment establishment “an adult playground” that features duckpin bowling, pinball and video games, as well as cocktails, mocktails and beers.

The Pins at the District at Deerfield will come in at 30,000 square feet and will feature two floors, each with outdoor balconies, a 40 foot tall corkscrew slide that connects the second and first floors, as well as an area of the parking lot that will be designated for food truck parking. Further details, such as an address for the forthcoming Pins, has not been released yet.
As detailed in the article, when the Deerfield Pins location was originally announced in 2022, at that time it was slated to open in early 2024. However, the recent Dayton Business Journal article reported that the opening date has been pushed back to next year. What Now Columbus reached out to Pins to learn the anticipated timeframe for opening and the company stated that they have plans to open in 2025, but a more detailed timeline was not shared.
