According to a recently filed permit, fast food burger chain White Castle has filed to perform a major renovation at one of its Columbus area locations. The restaurant chain located at 1025 Alum Creek Dr may soon be razed and rebuilt, per language in the permit documents. The projected cost of the work is valued at $774,000, according to details in the permit filing. No further information was included in the permit filing.

It’s unclear when the work for this project will begin, or how long the construction process will take from start to finish. What Now Columbus reached out to a representative with the company to learn more about the project, but the representative shared that no further details were available at the time of this article’s publication.
White Castle serves burger sliders and sides like fries onion rings and mozzarella sticks. The eatery also offers breakfast selections that include breakfast sliders, sandwiches and waffles. Drink selections range from milk shakes to soda and other soft drinks.
