At her Dayton eatery, chef owner and operator Brooke Whorton, along with her husband and business partner ShaQuan Whorton, cooks up comfort food favorites like macaroni and cheese, wings, cornbread, yams and fried fish, along with her signature “stuffed” menu items.

Whorton has overcome struggles in her life, including being homeless and learning how to make ends meet as a single mother. She attended the culinary arts program at Sinclair Community College and pursued her dream of cooking for others, first through a catering business, and then through her Dayton restaurant. Her menu reflects a combination of the skills she gained through her education, along with some of her past experiences that drove her to create tasty meals using inexpensive ingredients.

“My inspiration comes from being a single mother where I had to take items that were cheap to make something extravagant,” she shared.

Some of those simple staples included bread, cheese, beef, onions, bell peppers and a bag of potatoes. Those ingredients would become one of the most popular dishes at Stuffed Enuff.

“My first stuffed burger I made I couldn’t believe how delicious it was. I just knew it would be a great idea to sell them.”

Whorton said the menu offerings in Columbus will be slightly different than the Dayton selections. Columbus will offer three set signature stuffed burgers, a philly, Hawaiian and cowboy version and guests will also have the option of customizing burgers by choosing between ground beef or turkey, picking their own cheeses, stuffings and sauce. The eatery will serve its signature uptown pink lemonade to go along with the food selections.

The Columbus location will operate on a carryout and delivery service model, with deliveries provided by all delivery platforms. Stay up to date on the opening details for the Columbus location by following the eatery on Facebook
