Outside, the restaurant will receive improvements to its parking lot, including pothole repairs, and restriping and install new landscaping including four new trees and 17 new shrubs throughout the site. The building renovations include changes to existing parapet profiles to help break up the existing massing of the building and provide more visual interest, as well as changes to the existing windows and doors to better align with the proposed interior layout.

Over the course of the last 30 days, What Now Columbus has reported on two other White Castle locations in Columbus that have filed permits for major renovations, including the restaurant located at 1025 Alum Creek Dr that may soon be razed and rebuilt, and the 1435 E Dublin Granville Rd location that is set to undergo a similar renovation as the Kenny Road restaurant.
