As first reported in Columbus Monthly, a new barbecue restaurant is making plans to open in Hilliard. The eatery will move into the space that formerly housed Zuko’s Pizza, located at 4333 Cosgray Rd. Smoked Lick BBQ established itself as a catering business earlier this year, and the move into the Cosgray Road space will mark the first brick and mortar restaurant for the barbeque-based eatery.

Per information on its website, the catering menu includes items like smoked sausage links, smoked gouda queso, various smoked meats such as brisket, pulled pork and ribs, along with sides such as mac and cheese, cornbread and coleslaw. It is unclear if the entire catering menu selections will make their way to the brick and mortar menu.

A timeline for opening has not been shared, but according to the previous reporting, the business has placed signage at 4333 Cosgray Rd indicating its plans to open soon. What Now Columbus made multiple attempts for a request for comment, and spoke briefly with the company’s executive manager, but the individual was not immediately available for comment.
