What Now Columbus reached out to Willoughby to learn the details about the forthcoming Westerville restaurant and learned that the eatery’s interior will be over 5,000-square-feet with 74 indoor seats and 24 outdoor patio seats. Additionally, the owner/operator shared that he’s excited to welcome guests to the forthcoming restaurant in the not too distant future.
“My family and I have proudly called the Columbus area home for over a decade, and it’s such an honor to grow the Chick-fil-A brand here with the upcoming opening of Chick-fil-A Westerville, slated to open in early 2025,” Willoughby shared. “With our newly reopened Polaris Parkway restaurant and the future Westerville location, we look forward to providing remarkable experiences, doubling our community impact and showing intentional care for our team members and guests,” he continued.
The announcement of the new construction Chick-fil-A follows closely behind the permit filing for an interior and exterior remodel at the 6240 E Broad St that What Now Columbus reported on earlier this month. According to previous reporting by Columbus Business First, the brand has also expressed interest in opening a Worthington location in 2027 at a site that currently houses an Italian chain restaurant.
The Georgia-based chain has over 3,000 locations in the U.S. and its menu features crispy or grilled chicken available served as a sandwich, wrap, in a salad or on a biscuit for breakfast. Along with its chicken, the eatery’s waffle fries, milkshakes and lemonade are also popular among its regular customers.
