When owners Christianna and Carlos Berry relocated from Cleveland to Columbus, they also made the move into the restaurant industry together. The couple saw the ideal opportunity to open their own concept when they learned about the space at East Market.

Fran’s Meat + Three will feature various meats like meatloaf, fried chicken, shrimp and fish, along with a number of side dishes that guests can select to pair with their meat of choice.

“It’s everything you need to create your own plate,” Christianna said of the menu offerings.

The side dishes will vary, and the establishment will also offer freshly made lemonade and tea and bottled sodas, along with variations on banana pudding for dessert.

Opening the business at the market will fulfill part of a lifelong dream for Christianna, who shared with What Now Columbus that she’s always loved cooking and as a child she dreamed of becoming a chef. She is a graduate of the culinary program at Johnson & Wales University Charlotte Campus.

The concept is one of two new vendors coming to the market this month, with a hibachi grill eatery also slated to open soon. Stay up to date on the opening details of Fran’s Meat + Three by following the business on Instagram
