Sarah Allen, Senior Director of Marketing for Café Zupas, shared with What Now Columbus the new location will be over 3,700 square feet and the company is eyeing an early November launch.

As noted on their website, Café Zupas is known for serving “slow food fast” and the eatery offers soups, salads and sandwiches prepared with high-quality ingredients made fresh daily. It all started with the first Café Zupas in Provo, Utah back in 2004, when friends Rob Seely and Dustin Schulthies decided to turn their love of good food into a restaurant.

Fast forward to today, when the chain has more than 55 restaurants across eight states, each one operating on the same model of success that the original concept delivered: offering made from scratch meals you’d find in your kitchen at home, but without the time commitment of cooking yourself. The Café Zupas menu features options for anyone following a keto diet, as well as vegetarian and dairy-free items. Salad choices include fresh greens and fruits, to protein forward mixed greens, as well as soups, sandwiches and bowls that feature vegetables, quinoa and a protein source.
