The total square footage of the space is just over 6,000 square feet, and as referenced in its name, when it opens the business will house a bar and lounge area, along with suites to provide space for service-based businesses that offer customers an opportunity to pamper themselves. Some of the service-based businesses Winston and Lee envision occupying the suite spaces on the first floor include nail and massage techs and makeup artists. In addition to the suites, there’s an upstairs area that will be available to rent out for networking events, meetings and corporate lunches.

Lee’s entrepreneurial background is in real estate and rental properties and Winston said both she and her brother aim to give back to the community through their businesses. One way they hope to achieve that with their newest joint venture is by bringing a luxurious, upscale concept to the Dayton market.

According to Winston, when guests step into The Ambiance Bar & Suites, the goal is to feel as though they’ve been transported to a Miami beach lounge through the vibrant, colorful decor, cozy seating and vacation style cocktails that guests will want to share on Instagram and TikTok and by serving elevated small bites. The full food and drink menu is still under development, but Winston shared details about a few items.

“We’re working with a mixologist to develop the cocktails, but we want to have fun drinks that include elements like fire, and serve small plates, like egg rolls, dips and specialty wings,” Winston said of the food and drinks.
