In May, Jennifer Coyle, owner of Dayton bakery Say Yes Cakes, closed her shop on Wayne Avenue due to outgrowing the space. Although she thought relocating would include a brief pause and had plans to reopen in August, after several setbacks, Coyle announced this week on Facebook that she is reopening for business in a larger location, at 1003 Shroyer Rd.

After months of operating on a by order business model, Coyle tells What Now Columbus that she’s ready to start welcoming customers back into the bakery. The space will be set up for carry out service, with a rotating selection of items, which will change throughout the seasons.

Coyle said some of those everyday items customers can find will include cupcakes, available in white and chocolate cake, along with brownies, magic bars, whoopie pies, cannoli and other pastries. Cake pops will also be on the menu, and although some flavors may rotate, guests can always find chocolate and birthday cake flavored cake pops.

Other treats include banana pudding and cookies available in classic flavors like chocolate chip and peanut butter. There will also be whole cake selections that can be decorated for those last minute celebrations.
