According to recent reporting, Bojangles will open two locations in Columbus this year. The chicken chain franchise has expanded to the area and is opening their first Ohio location at 831 Hilliard Rome Rd this summer, with a second location opening at 853 S 30th St in Heath some time later this year.
As the recent reporting shared, franchisee Jeff Rigsby plans to bring 15 locations to the Columbus area over the next several years. The Heath location’s goal is to open in 2023, but the exact timeline for opening hasn’t been made clear. What Now Columbus reached out to Rigsby for comment on the timeline for opening the Heath location, but didn’t receive an immediate reply.
The Bojangles menu features Southern style fried chicken, including chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, biscuits and sides like coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, fries and green beans. The eatery also serves breakfast all day and some offerings include their sausage, egg and cheese biscuit, pimento cheese biscuit and Southern gravy biscuit. The eatery also offers fountain drinks, sweet tea and desserts.
