Guests of one Columbus area burger joint may soon notice some construction taking place. The fast casual burger chain Shake Shack is planning to do some exterior upgrades to its location at 1370 Polaris Pkwy in Polaris, according to a recent permit filing with the city.
In the details of the permit filing, the scope of the work is projected to cost $45,000 and includes work for the construction of a new structure for the trash enclosure.
Shake Shack started as a hot dog cart in New York City’s Madison Square Park and has grown over two decades to over 300 locations throughout the U.S. With a name like Shake Shack, you can of course expect to get a milkshake made from frozen custard in a number of flavors like triple chocolate brownie or cookies and cream.
Besides the shakes, the eatery also serves burgers, both those made the traditional way with meat as well as plant-based patties along with chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, BLTs and hot dogs. There are also fries available, either plain or adorned with things like cheese sauce or a sprinkling of spicy seasoning served with a side of ranch.
