The steakhouse chain is famous for its cuts of mouth-watering steak, as well as for its signature appetizer called the bloomin’ onion, which is a whole onion cut into segments that resemble flower petals, that are battered and fried, then served with a spicy dipping sauce.

Other dishes available at the restaurant include chicken, seafood, pasta, burgers and salads. There’s also a selection of beer and wine, as well as soft drinks including lemonade, soda and tea. Dessert items range from a warm brownie served á la mode to carrot cake and New York style cheesecake.

Although the steakhouse chain takes inspiration from the land down under, Outback Steakhouse is owned by Florida based company Bloomin’ Brands. In addition to operating Outback Steakhouse, the company also owns and operates Carrabba’s Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, according to information found on its website.
