According to a recent Columbus Business First article, the breakfast, brunch and lunch chain First Watch is planning to open a new restaurant later this year at 6547 Artesian Run. The eatery is slated to open this August and will be 4,500 square feet and seat 175 people between inside and covered patio seating areas.

The Florida based chain has over 500 restaurants in 29 states, with nearly a dozen located in Central Ohio. 

With a menu focused around breakfast, brunch and lunch, the First Watch selections include pancakes, oatmeal, waffles, eggs benedict and omelets, in addition to avocado toast and breakfast bowls made with quinoa, eggs and other proteins. There are also salads such as the kale superfood and cobb, as well as a turkey burger and roast beef and havarti sandwich available for lunch. 

Beverages range from traditional drip coffee, cold brew and flavored iced coffees, in addition to hot chocolate, hot herbal and iced teas, fresh juices and a number of soft drinks.
