Founded over 100 years ago by Billy Ingram in 1921, the eatery quickly saw success with multiple locations, making White Castle the world’s first fast food chain, according to information on the company’s website.
The most popular item on the eatery’s menu is the small square burgers, known as sliders, served with or without cheese, or with additional toppings like bacon. Additional sliders are available made with chicken or fish.
Other menu selections include chicken rings, which are like chicken nuggets in a ring shape, as well as breakfast options like a breakfast slider and breakfast toast sandwich. Sides include fries, mozzarella sticks and onion rings, as well as a selection of fountain drinks and milkshakes.
