According to a recent Dayton Business Journal article, this week, Maple Street Biscuit Company announced plans to open a new restaurant at 9329 Mason Montgomery Rd in Deerfield Township. The eatery will be located in a 3,500 square foot space that includes a patio area that was the former site of a DiBella’s Subs.

When it opens, it will mark the fifth Maple Street Biscuit location in the state of Ohio. What Now Columbus reached out to the company to learn the anticipated opening date for the eatery, but a request for comment was not returned. According to information in the Dayton Business Journal article, a representative with the commercial real estate agency OnSite Retail Group said the biscuit chain, “should be starting its buildout any week now and will likely be open by the end of the summer.”

With a menu that revolves around biscuits, the restaurant offers items like classic biscuit sandwiches complete with egg, melted cheese and choice of breakfast meat, to more elevated options like a biscuit sandwich made with apple butter, fried chicken, bacon and cheese.

Of course nothing pairs with a biscuit like gravy, and the eatery has a couple options available along with non-biscuit entrees like the keto bowl, made with two eggs, vegetables, everything bagel seasoning and maple balsamic drizzle, as well as several breakfast taco options. The drink menu includes hot or iced lattes, cold brew, lemonade, tea and mimosas.
