According to a recent article, the newest vendor at The Silos, a-soon-to-open food hall and beer garden in Dayton, has been confirmed. Burger Bistro By Cece’s Kitchen will serve burgers and sandwiches at the food hall, located at 800 E 1st St.
The burger business is owned by chef Centruela “Cece” Collier, of the food truck and catering business Cece’s Kitchen. Burger Bistro’s menu includes a classic American burger, a black bean burger, sliders, a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, a glazed salmon filet sandwich, wings and fried mac and cheese balls. There will also be fries, available with a house made cheese sauce.
Collier tells What Now Columbus that in addition to the new burger business at the food hall, she intends to keep the food truck going on the weekends as well as her catering business. Collier said she started her professional career in the corporate world, but has always loved cooking for people and got her start in the food business by catering private events at the encouragement of her husband.
“I started cooking in commercial kitchens and clubs so lots of people got to know me pretty quickly,” Collier said.
In terms of her food truck’s future, Collier is currently working out its menu offerings once the burger business is launched and she says it’s possible the food truck may shift its focus to just tacos.
