El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant was established thirty years ago by Efrain Quezada and Fernando Morales, and Quezada tells What Now Columbus that the North High Street location is around 3,000-square-feet, making it about the same size as the chain’s other locations.

The menu is focused on authentic Mexican cuisine, including tacos, fajitas, enchiladas and margaritas in a number of flavors. There are also seafood entrees such as the del mar bowl, which is shrimp, vegetables, brown rice and black beans, as well as steak selections like carne asada, and a number of vegetarian options.

Quezada did not share an exact opening date for the newest location, but customers are encouraged to watch the eatery’s Facebook and Instagram accounts to learn the latest news on the opening details.
