The company is a franchise-owned chain and the Columbus Barrio Burrito Bar is being brought to the community by a local Dunkin’ Donuts franchisee. According to the article, the franchisee is Tushar Patel, who will also be “the master franchisee for all of Ohio for the burrito brand.”

What Now Columbus reached out to Patel to learn more about the opening timeframe for the burrito chain, but a request for comment was not returned. As detailed in the article, the Morse Road location will be 1,600 square feet and is slated to open some time in the fourth quarter.

According to the chain’s website, its Canadian menu, where the chain is called Bar Burrito, features burritos and bowls, street tacos, quesadillas and sides like chips, salsa, queso and guacamole.
