Guests at a Polaris Starbucks may soon see a few upgrades. According to permit documents filed with the City of Columbus, the Starbucks located at 1187 Polaris Pkwy is likely to see a few exterior improvements of the stand alone building, which include customer facing enhancements in the drive-thru, such as upgrades to the ordering screen and outdoor menu boards.
As detailed in the language in the permit, the Starbucks store is set to receive a new digital order screen and menu board along with upgraded wayfinding and directional signage that will be located along the south, west and north elevations of the building.
Based in Seattle, Starbucks has locations across the U.S. as well as the globe and can be found in airports, sporting arenas, supermarkets and retail stores, in addition to its stand alone stores, many of which offer a drive-thru.
Although it originally started as a coffee shop, the chain also serves tea, lemonade and a variety of other drinks, in addition to pastries, breakfast sandwiches, bagels and light bites.
