What Now Columbus reached out to the grocery chain to find out the scope of the renovations and what type of impacts customers may face due to the work, such as if guests should expect a disruption in service, but a request for comment was not returned.

As previously reported by What Now Columbus, the grocery chain announced that it was investing  $68 million to remodel 11 stores in the region, but the scope of work to be performed at the 11 stores was not shared by the company at the time.

Kroger grocery stores offer some fast casual options such as prepared salads, ready to eat, precut and packaged fruit, as well as shareable items like vegetable trays and dips. The deli area carries lunchmeat and cheese by the slice in addition to cooked, ready to eat fried and rotisserie style chicken and assorted cold sides.

The chain opened in Cincinnati’s downtown area over 140 years ago and today it is one of the world’s largest retailers, with 2,800 stores in 35 states, per information found on its website.
