As detailed in a recent Dayton.com article, breakfast and brunch focused eatery French Toast Heaven is planning to open its third location at 102 Main St, in Hamilton. Chef owner and operator Kevin “Maurice” Jordan tells What Now Columbus that the team is “working as fast as we can,” to get the Main Street eatery open by this fall.

Guests of the restaurant can expect to find the establishment’s signature sky blue walls and familiar menu items such as its variety of French toast flavors, like the peach cobbler, hot fudge cake and very berry, as well as its French toast flights. Other breakfast favorites include a selection of cheesy grits, waffles and appetizers.

“We’ll do a similar menu, but we’ll do a little more bar type food,” Jordan said. Additionally, the location will feature a full bar and will offer tequila and bourbon flights. Jordan also said the eatery will offer to-go options and with its DORA designation, the eatery will also have outdoor seating options.

Inside, the restaurant will feature 3,000-square-feet and will offer seating for around 80. Similar to the menu, Jordan said the decor will be familiar but it will also have its own unique feel. The team is still working on all the interior details, but the goal is to make sure it represents the brand but also matches the downtown feeling of Main Street.

“We’re really excited about the new location. We’re looking forward to it,” he said.
