Owners Samer Chadid and Francesco Todisco plan on having a dozen TVs located throughout the 1,700-square-foot space. Although guests will be able to watch a variety of sports ranging from NFL and college football to European soccer and Formula One, the vibe of the space won’t be that of the typical sports bar. Instead, expect comfortable, low seating perfect for lounging, and an atmosphere that’s similar to one of the ownership’s previous concepts.

“It will be a similar concept to Ferdinand, so anyone who knew that concept will understand our new one,” Chadid said of the vibe. “Think of it as a European type of sports bar that will have good music, a good vibe and lots of sports on the TVs.”

Although the space won’t feature traditional tables and chairs, there will be seating for around 50 guests inside and an additional 12 to 15 outside. In terms of the menu, some of the elevated small plates will be reminiscent of Bistrolino’s offerings, with a focus on Mediterranean fare, which honors the owners’ Italian and Lebanese heritage.

Some of the menu items will include flatbreads, gazpacho and lobster mac and cheese. The drink offerings will feature popular domestic selections, along with local craft beers, wines and craft cocktails, with a focus on using spirits from local craft distilleries. The cocktail menu will rotate with the seasons, but Chadid said guests can count on classic cocktails available for $10.

Capri is currently slated for a fall opening, but find more details on the Bistrolino Instagram account, which will be converted to reflect the Capri name and concept closer to the new bar’s launch date.
