According to recent reporting, Yumi Boba Tea will open an additional location next year at The Greene Town Center in Beavercreek at 55 Chestnut St. The Beavercreek store will mark the third location for the business, with two other locations at 170 Woodman Dr and 204 Springboro Pike.
In addition to bubble tea, or boba, the establishment also offers a variety of desserts including bubble waffles, mochi donuts and food like Korean corn dogs. Other drinks include coffees such as dalgona and Vietnamese styles as well as smoothies and fruit tornadoes, which its website describes as “an ice blended fruit slushy served with a layer of cheese foam.”
Owner Hoang Nguyen tells What Now Columbus that currently the target opening for the location is some time in March, but that timeline is subject to change due to construction and other factors.
Nguyen said the new location will have seating for around 15 guests, but while there’s not a lot of seating offered in the space, there will be more room for a wider selection of baked goods and increased street food offerings.
