One Area Mexican Inspired Eatery May Get a Small Facelift

According to a recently filed permit, one area Local Cantina, located at 1644 Oak St, may see a couple of changes. There are over a dozen Local Cantina eateries located throughout central Ohio, and the Oak Street spot, which the eatery refers to as Local Cantina Trolley Barn, is in the city’s historic Trolley District.

The Local Cantina Trolley Barn may be getting new signage that includes a sign on the eatery’s front wall, as well as a tower ground sign, per the language in the permit filing.

With a menu that features tacos available in a number of proteins including birria style, seafood, beef and pork, in addition to burrito bowls and quesadillas. The restaurants also offer items like appetizers and shareables such as nachos, queso dip and cocktails like margaritas as well as soft drinks. 

Local Cantina is one of several area eateries owned and operated by Orange Umbrella Restaurant Group. The restaurant group also operates numerous other eateries including Liberty Tavern, The Rossi, The Go Go, Local Bar and the forthcoming concept Prim Mason, slated to open in the Gravity development this spring.
