There appears to be another Panda Express restaurant coming to Columbus, according to a recent permit filing. The permit details work for ground up construction of a new Panda Express quick service restaurant with a drive-thru. The permit filing states that the Panda Express will be located at 3847 S High St, but according to Google Maps, this address is currently home to a restaurant. The total cost for the new construction project is expected to be $1.75 million, per the permit documents.

Presently, there are five Panda Express locations throughout Columbus, and over 2,000 restaurants across the U.S., according to information on the company’s website.

The fast casual Chinese cuisine eatery offers proteins such as chicken, beef, pork and shrimp, along with noodles and rice available steamed or fried, as well as sides like egg rolls and spring rolls.

What Now Columbus reached out to a representative with Panda Express to learn when the company hopes to break ground at the site and other details, but a request for comment was not immediately returned.
