The Little Grand Market, Columbus’ new food hall, revealed its grand opening date and inaugural weekend festivities during an exclusive Hard Hat Tour on Wednesday, July 17. The Market is set to welcome visitors beginning on Friday, Aug.16 at 6 p.m.

Thrive Cos., the developer and operator behind this project, showcased the unique concept that will feature The Little Grand Bar, Bada Bean Bada Booza, ten chef partners and community spaces, including a three-acre park, outdoor seating and firepits, entertainment stage, dog park and pickleball court.

“We are thrilled to unveil The Little Grand Market to the Columbus community,” said Thrive Cos. spokesperson, Joel Lilly in a statement. “This project has been years in the making, and we are confident that it will become a social hub and destination for dining and gatherings.”

Guests can also enjoy a wide selection of locally crafted beers at The Little Grand Bar or opt for a variety of coffee drinks made with Columbus’ own Florin coffee, teas and spirited concoctions at Bada Bean Bada Booze. Both The Little Grand Bar and Bada Bean Bada Booze, are owned and operated by Thrive Cos.

At The Little Grand Market, visitors will find a diverse array of cuisines from 10 premier chef partners, including Common Rice, For The Love Of Dough, Frascati Market, Gant’s Pizza, Just Chicken, Lan Viet, Los Agavez Taqueria, Pablo’s Havana Café, Seoul Food On the Go, and Taesty’s.

To celebrate its grand opening, The Little Grand Market has planned a weekend full of exciting events:
·        Friday, August 16: The festivities kick off with the official grand opening at 6 p.m. with live music, an interactive art exhibit and a late-night DJ set.

·        Saturday, August 17: The day begins with a yoga session sponsored by The Atheltic Cos. (also located in The Little Grand Market) and Wellness Ave, taught by Tasha Mascareno followed by the Little Grand Farmers’ Market and live entertainment throughout the day.

·        Sunday, August 18: A family-friendly day with stilt walkers, aerial artists, face painters, balloon artists, a caricaturist and a magician will close out the weekend.
