According to recent reporting, Columbus chicken strip eatery Just Chicken is planning to open a new location in The Collective Market, later this year when the market is slated to open. The food hall will be located in the Grandview Crossing development, which is currently under construction. Just Chicken also operates a location in the East Market, and was previously open in Bubbly Hall in New Albany, but left the food hall, siting issues with management.
In addition to the forthcoming move into The Collective Market, Just Chicken owner D’Andre Martin also recently announced that plans are in the works for the eatery to expand beyond the Columbus area, with Just Chicken launching in food halls in Maryland and North Carolina within the next 30 days.
What Now Columbus spoke with Martin who shared his excitement about The Collective Market, which Martin believes is poised to become “the biggest food hall in the city.”
“The people behind the concept have the experience of developing successful businesses and I’m very excited about being a part of the food hall,” Martin said.
Just Chicken serves chicken tenders, in a variety of ways. Guests can opt to eat them served as a meal with fries, and a number of house made dipping sauces, over a bed of lettuce, as loaded fries, complete with shredded cheese and sauce, or on a sandwich.
